Epoch Estate Wines at 7505 York Mountain Road, Templeton, California.

My husband and I frequented 'York Mountain Winery' back in the mid 70's... i remember clearly a beautiful old brick and stone wine tasting room filled with antiques and surrounded by huge oak trees. I believe the wife would bake fresh bread to cleanse the pallet between tastes .. a taste was about 6 oz. ...no charge. Those were the days my friend!
I'm so happy to learn someone has championed revitalizing this Winery after the distruction from the earth quake. Back in the days you had York Mountain or Pesenti Winery .. not a hard decision! Will definitely check it out next time I'm in the area! Thanks Epoch!
